Hi! I have found that my Fibro pain is triggered mostly by stress, anxiety, and some foods. Here are some techniques that have been working for me.
  1. Avoid processed foods and Gluten
  2. Calming tea, such as Chamomile and Rooibos tea
  3. Natural Calm plus calcium
  4. Try to get enough sleep
  5. Exercise to relieve stress
  6. Stretch to loosen tense muscles
  7. Use a heating pad to ease/prevent tense muscles
  8. Try to stay Organized

I was taking ibuprofen and a muscle relaxant, on a daily basis, to ease my pain and symptoms associated with Fibromyalgia. I have been medication free for awhile now and have only been taking natural calm plus calcium. So far so good! I still have muscle pain and symptoms here and there, but overall this supplement seems to work pretty well and is a great alternative to Dr. prescribed medication. Natural calm has magnesium in it which is a mineral that is supposed to act as a natural muscle relaxant. The first time I took it I could feel the effects kick in right away. I would recommend this to anyone that suffers with tense muscles, spasms, cramps, stress, etc. The directions say to take 1 1/2 tsp. in the morning and 1 1/2 tsp. at night. I suggest starting off with a small amount and work your way up, if needed

What I did:
Day 1: 1/2 tsp. in the morning 1/2 tsp. at night
Day 2: 1/2 tsp. in the morning 1/2 tsp. at night
Day 3: 1 tsp. in the morning 1/2 tsp. at night
Day 4: 1 tsp. in the morning 1/2 tsp. at night
Day 5: 1 tsp. in the morning 1 tsp. at night
Day 6: 1 tsp. in the morning 1 1/2 tsp. at night

Note: It is not recommended that men take calcium supplements. If you are a male interested in taking this supplement try natural calm original without calcium. When taking this supplement, please Make sure you are still consuming calcium in your diet from milk, cheese, etc. Magnesium and calcium work together. Calcium can't be properly absorbed without magnesium and magnesium can't be properly absorbed without calcium.
Natural calm plus calcium is recommended for athletes or people low in calcium.

    1. Hi Vianne! The magnesium is made from sea water and sugar beets. When hot water it added, it combines the ingredients to make magnesium citrate. It is safe, but there are other ways of getting a good source of magnesium from foods. Some of which include leafy greens, nuts and seeds, whole grains, bananas, coffee, and cocao. I've found that magnesium really helps in relaxing my tense muscles. Thank you for your comment! :)

    2. I forgot to mention, it doesn't burn my stomach at all. It's like drinking salty flavored water. I hope this helps. 😊
